The nearest hotel to the venue at Golders Green is the lovely Anchor House Hotel,10 West Heath Drive, (020) 8458 8764), right opposite the venue! Please tell them you are playing in the chess tournament.

"Thanks for a brilliant weekend at Hampstead and please highlight the Anchor on your accommodation list; really good for the price!" - Alan H

There are many hotels and guesthouses in Golders Green.  Laterooms is a good place to look for bargains in the area.  If you find a good place to stay please let me know so I can add it to this page!

Some of the cheapest (£18.50 to £21.00 per night) places to stay in London are probably Youth Hostels ; you will need to be a member of the YHA to stay.  There is a hostel at Hendon Central two stops away from Golders Green.

If you play at Hampstead you may already know that it is just one stop away from Golders Green and therefore worth a look.

La Gaffe is on Heath Street - http://www.lagaffe.co.uk/.  The Hampstead Guest House is lovely, unusual and very conveniently situated near Hampstead tube.

The Best Western and Holiday Inn are in Swiss Cottage, one bus ride away from Golders Green (number 13 or 82) at the bottom of Fitzjohn's Avenue.

There is a Travelodge in Cricklewood which is easily reached by bus - get the 268 bus from opposite Hampstead Underground Station to Golders Green.

King’s College London has rooms for £60 a night  in Kidderpore Avenue a quick 13 or 82 bus ride from Finchley Road to the Golders Green venue, available to let to visitors during the summer months, from June 28th to September 9th.

I recommend looking at a site like laterooms.com and search by area or postcode for deals on accommodation in NW11 (Golders Green), NW3 (Hampstead), Swiss Cottage (NW3) or West Hampstead (NW6).
